Many medicines are available in these days having some or the other
side effects. The severity of side effects depends from person to
person. Emedastine - Emadine can destroy the lysosome content in the
cells important for protection due to excess usage. Severe reactions
may include Allergic conjunctivitis due to the side effect of this
drug. Allergic conjunctivitis is inflammation of the conjunctiva
(the membrane covering the white part of the eye) due to allergy.
Although allergens differ between patients, the most common cause is
hay fever.
Symptoms consist of redness mainly due to vasodilatation of the
peripheral small blood vessels. Edema of the conjunctiva, itching
and increase in lacrimation (production of tears) is also
experienced. Continuous sneezing, coughing, loss of appetite are
also commonly noticed. The symptoms are due to release of histamine
and other active substances by mast cells. This stimulates dilation
of blood vessels, irritate nerve endings and increase secretion of
tears.
Treatment of allergic conjunctivitis is avoidable with the treatment
of Emedastine - Emadine antihistamines, either in the form of eye
drops or in the form of tablets. Emedastine - Emadine used in excess
quantity leads to foggy vision, heavy breathing leading to poor
vision. Prolonged allergies can lead to sever disease if left
untreated. Mostly physicians recommend H1 type antagonist that is
enough for almost all-allergic related disease. Frequent and
unnecessary use of emedastine can cause damage to immune system,
which makes body non-resistant. The drug prevents form hormonal
secretions so the dose should be particularly took into account.
